Arlington, Texas. Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Fort
Worth and around 30 minutes from Dallas; Arlington is home to
the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and theme parks including
Six Flags Over Texas. Arlington is “Fun Central”
for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Lake
Arlington offers enjoyable boating, sailing, water skiing, jet
skiing, and fishing to the public. The lake offers a wide variety
of productive fishing waters. There is a private boat ramp and
a fishing pier with gated parking specifically for homeowners.
The city also operates two large, public boat launches nearby.
The surface area is four miles long and about one mile wide,
with a maximum depth of 51 feet. There are several municipal
lakeside parks nearby, including: Bowman Springs and Richard
Simpson.
